Sunday 16th April

2pm – 4pm JUNKHOUSEDOG BLUES BAND – New to the festival and well chuffed to be welcoming them, Junkhousedog is a Manchester based Blues band founded and fronted by ‘British Blues Harmonica Champion 2008/09’ Luke ‘Junkhousedog’ Shaw. Luke is a dynamite singer and front man. The energy that sparks off him, igniting the room as he plays, is contagious. He is a true harp heavyweight! Junkhousedog mixes steamy shuffles and eclectic swing, with true vintage Chicago style grit. For them, the usual ‘Blues standard’ and ‘formulae’ does not apply.

4pm – 6pm THE MILK MEN – hot foot from “The Horse” is a supergroup of well known and hugely respected UK blues musicians. The band was formed in 2010 by mates Adam Norsworthy (lead singer/guitarist of four-time British Blues Award nominees the Mustangs) and Jamie Smy (Jellyroll Men lead singer). The duo are joined on drums by ex-Pirate Mike Roberts, and on bass by Lloyd Green, son of legendary Pirate and r’n’b superstar Mick Green. The Milk Men play a dynamic mix of classic blues and r’n’b, as well as some originals.

6pm – 8pm THE JOHN COLINS BAND – A band that plays the music you love, and we love because we keep asking them back. Playing that stuff that other bands don’t play, The John Colins Band, or JCB as they have become known throughout the Cheshire and North West music circuit are a good time, band playing classic dance tunes. From the Rolling Stones to Pink, Radiohead to R.E.M. JCB cover a vast genre of songs with a common feature – you will rarely hear a local gigging band playing them, well not like that anyway.

8pm – 10pm THE LAST REBEL – Hard hitting grade “A” classic Rock & Blues from the Welsh. These guys played last year but in different bands and when we thought it couldn’t get any better they morphed into The Last Rebel. Impressing audiences wherever they play with tight delivery, mega vocals and superb musicianship interspersed with witty banter these guys are not to be missed.

Please note the Round the Town lineup may be subject to change.
