Friday 14th April
6pm – 8pm THE MUCKERS – founded by Alice and Matt as a Monday lunchtime club. In 2011 Marc Gallagher and Jack Hayward Cooke joined and they have been playing at school concerts and even the N’ukes festival. We play a large array of songs from the kinks to Eric Clapton, so there is something for everyone! we are available to play at local festivals or pub gigs; We just enjoy playing music!
9pm – 11pm THE JOHN COLINS BAND – A band that plays the music you love, and we love because we keep asking them back. Playing that stuff that other bands don’t play, The John Colins Band, or JCB as they have become known throughout the Cheshire and North West music circuit are a good time, band playing classic dance tunes. From the Rolling Stones to Pink, Radiohead to R.E.M. JCB cover a vast genre of songs with a common feature – you will rarely hear a local gigging band playing them, well not like that anyway.
Saturday 15th April
5pm – 7pm DR T-BONE – Meeting at a jam session jazzman Dave and blues guitarist Martin Evans found each other’s playing compatible. They formed Dr T-Bone with the idea of fusing jazz, R’n’B and even funk influences to back singer Tony Davidson. With a rock solid rhythm section of Bob Berg (drums) and Mark Morrin (bass guitar) the band is up and rocking at venues in Cheshire and North Wales.
9pm – 11pm MIND OVER MATTER – are 3 local lads that enjoy playing various music from Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Stereophonics, Kings of Leon and many more. With tunes from the ‘50s to the present day a sterling evening’s entertainment is in store.
Sunday 16th April
1pm – 3pm FISHHEADS – Rhythm, blues, rock, folk, fusion back at the festival. A four piece from the midlands of the UK, striving to create and perform the funkiest, bluesiest, rockiest music. The current line up of Grog, Sean, Austen & Simon have been sharing their own driven style of rock/blues around many local festivals and events for some time – the change of lineup in 2014 giving a new impetus and energy to an already exiting and original band.
5pm – 7pm MALPRACTICE – RnB on steroids…..”a little Malpractice never hurt anyone” Malpractice are a bunch of naughty boys who should know better who describe their influences as 70’S R&B, Pub Rock, The Blues, The Chris Bevington Blues Band. Their mission…To bring Feelgood to the people from Harecastle Delta to the Bathpool Jetty. And Nantwich !
Monday 17th April
3pm – 5pm GOODFELLAS BLUES BAND – These Goodfellas have a wide repertoire of material comprising songs from influential artists such as Eric Clapton & the Blues Breakers, Fleetwood Mac & BB King through to the more fiery and passionate acts such as Gary Moore, Jeff Healey & Joe Bonamassa in order to create a colourful palette of material with the odd surprise thrown in for good measure along the way.
