Friday 14th April
9pm – 11pm CARRICK – are a modern acoustic duo comprised of Caroline and Rick (hence the name Carrick – if you hadn’t already guessed!) They use a wide variety of instruments to perform acoustic versions of well known songs from the 70′s to the present day. Their arrangements include their own unique twist on familiar numbers so you will hear songs like you’ve never heard them before.
Saturday 15th April
3pm – 5pm NOTSOMERRY -Back in the festival after a break Notsomerry are a 4 piece acoustic rock band from The Midlands. Founded by Ian Merry, Sam Fannon and Luke Gage in November 2012, Notsomerry is a blend of classic rock and Bluegrass, injected with a heavy dose of punchy funk, to create a daring, crunchy musical experience! Welcome to Funkoustic rock!
8pm – 10pm SCRATCH – A three piece acoustic Party Band all the way from the City of Lichfield. Don’t let the acoustic thing mislead you, this is an up-and-at-it kinda band. They play a great mix of cover songs, with a good deal of witty banter and a whole bunch of audience participation.
Sunday 16th April
2pm – 4pm PISTOL PETE WEARN – A welcome return and by special request from the venue, old school acoustic blues, that you can jump around and dance along to. Fast paced tunes, shouty vocals, steel guitar & stompbox.
5pm – 7pm IMANER – Here they are again ! Having made a fantastic impression at last year’s festival & Nantwich Food Festival we’ve invited them back again this Easter. Deb and guitar Dave collectively make up the acoustic duo Imaner but will be bringing a couple of mates and performing as a 4 piece. Performing a heady mix of covers and original material, with a liberal splash of banter and a helping of audience participation.
Monday 17th April
2pm – 4pm BEAM ACOUSTIC – An afternoon with BEAM in acoustic mode with a covers session from Scott D Thompson and Glynn Sutton. Well established local musicians with over 20 years gigging experience in both original projects and covers bands spanning many genres. Expect a twist on popular classic covers and anticipate some excellent guitar work.
