BAR – 9pm – 11pm – PETE LATHAM AND JEN OGLE started working together as a duo in the summer of 2013. Mostly influenced by Folk Revival music – Bert Jansch, Fairport Convention, Tom Paxton, Judy Dyble, Sandy Denny, John Renbourn, All About Eve and Pentangle.
FRIDAY 30TH MARCH
BAR – 6pm – 8pm – RICK WHITEHEAD Stunningly talented solo blues vocal / guitarist Rick Whitehead is just perfect for a Friday evening. Well known on the Blues circuit we welcome him to Nantwich.
BAR – 9pm – 11pm – BLUE SILK is Judy Blu and Ian Silk who will be showcasing original songs with jazz and soul classics with a twist.
SATURDAY 31ST MARCH
BALLROOM – 3pm – 7pm – CHRIS BEVINGTON ORGANISATION PRESENTS Chris, his Organisation and special guests Emma Jonson and Mike Rhead will be filling the afternoon with the best of British Blues. Always popular and a Festival high point.
BAR – 3pm – 5pm – CHUCK HARRIET Chuck Harriet play glorious vintage jazz swing to leave you Feeling Good or maybe wanting to Sing Sing Sing with That Man, maybe even Cheek to Cheek in the Summertime or on A Night Like This.
BAR – 6pm – 8pm – B D LENZ Second outing for this Stateside band from New Jersey. Mix together the styles of Pat Metheny, Mike Stern, and Stevie Ray Vaughn and you have the recipe for contempo-jazz guitarist B.D. Lenz.
BALLROOM – 8pm – 10pm – BLOZONE Formed in 1996 these “Local Heroes” have been entertaining audiences with their mixed flavour of Soul, Motown, STAX and popular songs across the UK. A party atmosphere is in prospect with much dancing.
BAR – 9pm – 11pm – BARRELHOUSE JUKES Back by popular demand and making a fifth consecutive appearance year is this unique Acoustic Blues & Roots band.
SUNDAY 1ST APRIL
BALLROOM – 12noon – 5pm – THE CRY BABY SESSIONS Featuring CRY BABY & THE HOOCHIE COOCHIE BOYS – DIRK DIGGLERS BLUES REVIEW & 3 KINGS DUO. A splendid afternoon of high quality Blues.
BAR – 1pm – 3pm – KEVIN HASSETT’S ‘REDUX’ is a Jazz Quartet based in the North West producing accessible, entertaining jazz for thoughtful listeners.
BAR – 4pm – 6pm – LUCY LOCKWOOD a vibrant and exuberant Jazz and Blues vocalist, performs with her band.
BALLROOM – 6pm – 8pm – GAMBLER Another Festival outing for this fantastic Three Piece Rock Band, musicianship of the highest order, superb vocals and thoroughly entertaining.
BAR – 7pm – 11pm – THE NICK STEED BAND Nick Steed is a freelance keyboardist, piano/vocalist based in Stockport and will be bringing along his band to present a fantastic evening in The Crown Hotel Bar.
BALLROOM – 9pm – 11pm – BLUE CARTEL A four piece Blues/Funk/ Soul band. Expect an entertaining evening of quality live music, brought to you by performers that love to play live.
MONDAY 2ND APRIL
BALLROOM – 1pm – 5pm – BLUES ROCK DOUBLE BILL FEATURING JIM KIRKPATRICK & HEAVY WEATHER + BIG WOLF BAND Good to see Local guitar Hero Jim back at the festival with Heavy Weather on a double bill with up and coming Blues Rock powerhouse Big Wolf Band.
BAR – 2pm – 4pm – DR MIRMATT An eclectic mix of laidback melodic tunes covering genres such as Jazz, Soft Rock, Blues, Soul, Pop and standards
BAR – 4pm – 6pm – THE STEVE OAKES QUARTET perform a mixture of original compositions and interpretations of pieces by contemporary jazz greats including Pat Metheny and Chick Corea.
BAR– 6pm – 8pm – RICKETY WIRELESS What do you get when three original artists form a cover band? A rock/pop band performing many of your favourite tunes that many other bands don’t play that’s what !.
